1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pi network, alpha.pandaintel.app, or any services provided by PandaIntel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, Alpha Pioneers, and active users of the network.

2 Account Sovereignty and Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and authentication methods you use to access Pi. You agree not to disclose your credentials to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your @handle. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3 Platform IP and Branding

While you retain 100% ownership of the travel content you map on our network, all overarching platform designs, logos, software, and databases—including the "Pi" and "PandaIntel" trademarks, the Destination Ad Pool infrastructure, and the Staked Intelligence algorithms—are the exclusive intellectual property of PandaIntel (operated via the SortedPanda network).

4 Service Modifications and Availability

Pi is currently in an Alpha state. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, including the availability of specific features, databases, or token yield algorithms. We will not be liable to you or any third party should we exercise this right.

5 Limitation of Liability

Travel involves inherent risks. The intelligence, safety curfews, and logistics mapped on Pi are crowdsourced from our creator community. PandaIntel makes no warranties regarding the absolute accuracy, safety, or reliability of any mapped location. You agree that your use of the platform and any real-world travel decisions based on Pi’s data are made entirely at your own risk.

1 The Data We Collect

To power the Pi network, we collect basic account information (Email, Name, @handle) and the public social media links you provide during onboarding. When using the Pi app, we also collect geographic coordinate data when you actively drop map pins, and device location data when you use the "Near Me" feed filter.

2 How We Handle Location Data

Your trust is our foundation. Pi does not track your device location in the background. Device location is only pinged when you have the app open and actively request intel for your immediate vicinity. The coordinates attached to your travel content (Map Pins) are public data points used to build our global intelligence map.

3 Third-Party Content Ingestion

By opting into the Alpha Migration Program, you grant our systems access to your public profiles on third-party platforms (like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok). We only extract data relevant to travel logistics (images, video links, timestamps, and captions) and strictly ignore your private messages, private accounts, and non-travel-related content.

4 The Destination Ad Pool & Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third-party data brokers. The Pi network is monetized through the Destination Ad Pool. We share anonymized, aggregated geographic traffic data with local advertising partners (e.g., "1,500 travelers searched for cafes in North Goa this week") to generate the yield that is distributed back to our creators.

5 Your Right to Disappear

You own your digital footprint. You have the right to request a complete data wipe at any time. Deleting your account will immediately remove your profile, your mapped intelligence, and your device history from our active production servers.

1 The Prime Directive: Ground Truth Over Aesthetics

Pi is a utility network, not a lifestyle magazine. While we value beautiful photography and cinematic video, the primary purpose of your content must be logistical value. Does it help a traveler navigate, understand, or survive a destination? Prioritize facts, wait times, costs, safety advisories, and cultural nuances over vanity shots.

2 Absolute Geographic Accuracy

Every piece of intelligence submitted to Pi must be anchored to real-world coordinates. Vague tags like "Somewhere in the Mountains" are not permitted. If a hidden trail or street food vendor does not have an official address, it is your responsibility as an Alpha Scout to drop an accurate custom GPS pin.

3 Anti-Algorithm Behavior

Pi does not use a traditional engagement algorithm. Therefore, "engagement farming" tactics are strictly prohibited. Do not use clickbait titles, irrelevant tags, or manufactured controversy to draw attention. Intel is ranked purely on utility, geographic proximity, and verified upvotes from travelers who actually visited the location.

4 Community Disputes and Staked Intelligence

Pi is a self-healing ecosystem governed by its users. If another traveler flags your intel as outdated, inaccurate, or unsafe, the Alpha Guild will review the dispute. Repeatedly submitting false intelligence will result in your content being down-ranked, a loss of your Alpha Status, and potential slashing of your token bounties.

5 Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism and Undisclosed Ads

You must be the original creator of the media and the intelligence you map. Plagiarizing reviews or stealing photos will result in an immediate and permanent ban. Furthermore, if a venue provided you with a free stay or meal, you must explicitly disclose this in your intel description. We protect the trust of our travelers above all else.

1 Elevated Responsibility of Alpha Pioneers

Acceptance into the Pi Alpha Cohort grants creators sovereign identity, prioritized listing in the Destination Ad Pool, and governance participation. With these privileges comes the fiduciary responsibility to protect the integrity of the network’s ground-truth travel intelligence. Alpha members act as initial anchors for regional feeds; substandard or bad-faith submissions compromise traveler safety and platform credibility.

4 Dispute Resolution & Slashing Mechanism

• Community Flagging: Intel flagged by multiple verified travelers initiates an automated verification review.
• Guild Arbitration: Tier 2 and Tier 3 violations are submitted to active Alpha Guild verifiers for review. Evidence, including timestamped photos and historical coordinate logs, will be evaluated.
• Irreversible Sanctions: Confirmed Tier 3 violations result in immediate reclamation of the creator’s reserved @handle by PandaIntel and permanent blacklisting from future cohort seasons.

5 Appeals Process

Creators subject to Tier 1 or Tier 2 penalties may submit an appeal to pi@pandaintel.app within 7 calendar days of notice. The appeal must include GPS-verified evidence or documentation confirming on-ground accuracy. Decisions rendered by the arbitration review team are final.
